I feel it’s important to start this blog off with a bit of context. Without a doubt there is a certain level of insecurity and trepidation with starting anything new (and so public). My intention is to stay real and raw about my journey, the joys and the crap of life and how I have turned my pain into my passion.
Finding meaning to our pain is one of the greatest gifts God gives to humanity. To be able to reflect on your own story with a sense of humility and even humor is superhuman (even an art), especially if you have the opportunity to share it and for that pain to help and serve others. The more aware of my brokenness I become, the more impassioned I become to express that brokenness, work toward wholeness and than to bring that same hope to others.

My story is not unique, but it is mine, and I can’t wait to share more of it with you. I have for over 24 years helped people process their pain and discover God’s great love for them. My hope now is to find even more people like me who are ready to journey… People who have wrestled with pain and trauma… People who feel stuck in that pain and held back from their dreams. I want to help Christians, and especially pastors, who have struggled with their faith and the beautiful mess that is the local church. Lastly, I want to learn from your stories too!
Know anyone like that? Let’s connect, laugh, talk strategy and let’s get messy! Life is too short to stay stuck!
